Sammy and Brothers blend traditional African styles, specifically from DR Congo and East Africa, with acoustic and melodic arrangements, and message driven song writing. They’ve been playing together as a family from a young age, and have always aimed to bring peace and joy to the hearts of people listening to their music. The band believes it’s been God helping them along their musical journey; siblings Israel Mbombo, Samuel Divinda (known as Sammy), Gershom Mbombo and Shekinah Pemba met Noah Stires at church, and immediately connected through music. They believe in God’s guidance and faithfulness bringing them together.
